Have the US Government use the white space spectrum or build infrastructure to create an affordable broadband internet access to rural areas, maybe cities where broadband companies will not provide, and have the USPS manage the system.

You can get the dependability out of any computer, it just depends how you maintain it. I have a MacbookPro myself and since I'm in school, I see the benefits of both Windows and Mac. I also like to do some FPS's. It depends on what you do with your computer to get which one.

@BP-454130 Microsoft can't kill off apple because 1) Bill Gates use to work for Apple 2) Anti-Trust and Anti-Monopolization laws exist in the US. That goes the same for Apple, Apple can't kill off Microsoft. Bill Gates has already retired from Microsoft BTW.

Actually there are trojans and viruses for OS X, otherwise there wouldn't be any virus scans or firewalls for OS X. It's rare but there's a few. As the number of mac users increase, there will be more viruses.

@ BP-454130 Hackers are just too lazy to code a virus for OS X. Since windows is more open to coding, it's easier to code a virus and distribute it more easily than OS X; however, a smart person would know how to maintain a computer, either a mac or windows.

And you one biased SOB. G2/b/ with your comment. I mean seriously, one OS is no better than the other, it's all about personal preference. I use Windows, OS X, and Ubuntu, where all OS has their cons and pros.
